Down here in Tally-town, we have a free-to-the-public range (no RM, we police ourselves) and a members-only range that has the longer 300 yard distance for rifles. This range is $100 initial fee for the year, then $50/year afterwards. The old-timers there tend to be snobbish, though - so mostly we use the public range.
Our indoor range closed a few years back - story was that the employees were robbing them blind on ammo. Too bad.
