| I tell ya G3, the DSA's are the cadillacs! These are not kit guns, they're brand new from the ground (reciever) up. The only other way to spend any more money and get as good a rifle, only prettier is to check out Arizona Response Systems. Unless things have changes however, the FAL God there builds all of his stuff on DSA recievers and pretty exclusivly uses DSA parts. Any of the Century L1's I have ever fixed I have used a fair amount of DSA parts. DSA is simply really good at what they do and they stand behind their work 100%. I'm still deciding on the extra money for the fat barrel. I've made the plunge already and to tell you the truth I have an old Century L1A1 skinny barrel that will shoot right there with it at 300 yds. Sure the group is a bit more spread out of the L1 but that thing has had a bunch-o-ammo through it? One thing is for sure, when you flop that fat barrel out on the bench it gets double takes from all sides! That heavy barrel and floating hand guard give it a rather hunky look! I'm pretty partial to DSA's standard rifle with the "X" series stock on it, that's a nice looking FAL!
