Barrels

Just getting back into shooting after few years off, and want a 223 barrel for a Contender where the best place to start looking at prices.

Paul, www.auctionarms.com sells a few T/C barrels. I believe the majority of them are used and sometimes a FFL is required. www.bullberry.com also sells barrels. Good luck!

I've had very good luck with http://www.alewisenterprise.com/. Prices are good and James seems to be a good guy.

I've had good luck with Ed's Contenders. He usually has the best price on new barrels and also has good prices on used barrels, also. I just got back from shooting a new 222 Rem barrel that I got from Ed a couple of weeks ago. I got a couple of 1" groups with it and hope to do better when I find the load that it likes.
