I know they're out there. Anyone know where to find them and what they price go for?

Yes, they are out there. The hi caps were commercially made only, not military surplus.
There have been reliability problems reported with the hi cap mags so I avoid them and stick with my tried-and-true 8+1 Bulgy.
As usual, the places to go for info are 1) www.makarov.com FAQs.
and 2) try www.gunboards.com/forums/makarov. These guys (and some ladies) are true Mak fanatics and experts. This Mak forum is NOT supposed to be a WTB/WTS place but they can steer you to the right sites, probably Gunbroker.com.
