What I meant was that I was never any good at shooting the .45.
Not sure why.....just wasn't. Therefore, I lacked confidence...not so much with the gun but my own limitations.
And, I'm a firm believer in one premise; if you lack confidence in your weapon, or your ability to use it, it's of little use to you.
But, let me make it clear, in my case it wasn't the quality of the 1911 that was lacking.
