Well I went to buy my 1911 today and was looking for a SA mil-spec. Nobody had them and I couldn't order them. Last place I went all they had was the Taurus 1911. I know that story my buddy told me freaked me out, but these guys told me that it was probably bad ammo and basically convinced me to get one.

Well first thing I do with any gun when I bring it home is take it apart and clean it. Mostly just to make sure that I can before I shoot it. So take the gun apart (no problem). And start to clean the gun. Everything is going fine till I get to the barrel. I take a look at the barrel and the feed ramp is all chipped and warped. Take a few more seconds of looking at it and notice, what looks like internal crinkling in the metal. Here are some pictures I took of it. Hope they aren't too large, but I kinda had to zoom in on them to show the details I was talking about.

Thats it for pictures.
