Thanks for all the feedback.

The saiga 12 has also been refered by another guy I talked to a few weeks ago. I have looked it over and it looks great. I am trying to get the owner of the gun shop near me to get a used one I can fire to check it out.

The Rem 1100 is definitely a darn good gun. I too have been able to get a 3" pattern at about 75 yards. The price is the only kicker for me. I have been seeing them go for around $800 used with a smoothbore deer barrel. I can get a brand new one with a bird barrel for about $600, but then I'd still have to buy a new barrel for it. Seems strange. But that's new york for ya.
