Figure a Saiga costs the dealer $280, add shippin, and a minimum fee of say $20, or up to 10% or so, you're looking at $320 out the door. Or say he really gouges you and marks up 20%, you're looking at $350. Or let's get extreme and say he does 40% like the dealer here did before he went out of business, about $410. Still way beneath the Remington. Go to www.cdnninvestments.com and ask for a catalog. Give it to your dealer and ask him to order the Saiga for you and how much it would cost in the end. Sometimes dealers don't get very aggressive about finding the best prices to pass on to their customers.

The good dealers will work with you on getting the best deal, and just talk straight about their markups and fees. Some try to hide it and get secretive about how much they really pay for the guns they sell. We know they need to make a profit in order to be able to stay in business, and the good ones know that we know and recognize our intelligence.
