| i thought i read somewhere that the reason for the hole was to let crud out of the action during extended firing or in dirty environments. i guess if that is the case a gun that spends most of it's time tail up and exposed to the elements might benefit from being plugged, my little 27 stays right next to my skin under my shirt and i only need to shower every other month or so (yes i wear it into the shower, doesn't everyone?) besides if you couldn't guess i'm one of those that believes ol'Gaston is omnipotent, so if he didn't plug it it musn't need to be plugged. |
