Anyone who is into Japanese rifles needs this book: MILITARY RIFLES OF JAPAN by Fred Honeycutt,JR and F. Patt Anthony. This book covers Murata pattern rifles thru Type 99 rifles. Sniper, training, Paratrooper and experimental models included. Also gone over are Japanese characters, markings and accessories for the rifles. Might be out of print but well worth the search. Andy
