Cut the difference and get a Rem 700 ADL 30-06 or a used BDL. 30-06 is right in between a .308 and a .300 mag and easy ammo, lots of choices. You go out to the boonies to hunt and forget your ammo, you will find some place that sales 30-06 ammo.
