Cool Thinking about thes for the Rommy WASR hi-cap

piece hardwood (beechwood) stock set for all stamped receiver AKs. Finished to a beautiful smooth finish, stained a dark blond. Includes hardwood buttstock, upper handguard, and AKM-pattern lower handguard with the swells on the side and US-made black plastic pistol grip. Includes metal buttplate and sling swivel on the buttstock. Made in Bulgaria.
This set counts one US-made part for Section 922(r) complianceThis set fits Romanian, Egyptian, Hungarian, Chinese, and any other standard configuration stamped receiver rifles. It won’t fit Russian and some other stamped receiver sporters have the receiver cut a an angle at the rear. A few MAK90 rifles also are cut this way. These stocks will not fit those riflesNote: You must install 5-6 US parts to legally make this conversion on a thumbhole rifle.
$59.99

Thumbs up

heres something to try on the wood, get a propane torch with the spreader tip. then quickly run it over the wood, not too much, just enough to accent the grain. follow with stain and finish!!!

I'm too lazy! Those first stocks are awesome for the price! $30 bucks less than the synthetic o.d. green ones for the MISR!

Personally the blonde look is terrible. Strip and stain and use TRU - OIL.

I don't know about olive drab. Synthetics are very durable and weather proof. Black preferably. Blonde ah ok it kind of stands out like a red sports car. I don't like drawing attention to myself or my weapons.

NRA I had that blonde look on one of my rifles -- couldn't get the stripper fast enough. Besides brunettes have more fun. Black is even more beautiful.
Maybe it was just me but the ammo out of the blonde had to stop and ask directions.

Laminates are cool just not in that color. I refinished the one on a Russian SKS. Absolutly beautiful. Just face it NRA you are a blonde sort of guy. Everyone has their weakness.

God must not of wanted me to get another AK today. After I went shooting, I drove to another gunstore in Wauseon, Oh. He was supposed to have 3 AK's in by now. All the way there I kept telling myself "It won't hurt to look, It won't hurt to look" By time I pulled into town I was telling myself "Aw heck, you got room on a card, if he's got a SAR1, GO A HEAD AND GET IT, YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE" Walked into the shop...no AK's at all! I asked the guy wheres the AK's, he said their late! I told him after I had left there last week, I went in that pawn shop in the next town and bought that WASR-10. Told him I was gonna buy one from him if it was a SAR1. He said he thinks one of them is a SAR1...NOW THE WAITING BEGINS!
