I hope,if the '94 crime bill twilights, the American manufacturers will rise to the occassion and provide us with lots of accessories,as the SAR-1 will not be under the '89 law as it is classed as an American rifle as long as we don't add imported parts,at least that's how it looks to me,hope I'm right,I think I am,what do you think,if it's true there will be a rush on SAR-1's by folks that like to trick their toys out like me!

Thumbs up I BELIEVE RAVE

that you are correct in your assumption, as soon as the accessory makers know for sure its dead. by the following year there will be oodles of stuff.

and the rumored no longer any more SAR's, is temporary too. the importers don't want to be left holding unsellable guns n stuff if AWBII does happen, once it sunsets they will pick up again.

the AWBII is far, far more extreme than anything the libs have dreamed up, and none of the guns we have now will be grandfathered, the gummint will expect them surrendered.

NRA joe,man I have some bad news for you, since you swapped the American pistol grip for a Romanian one you SAR is no longer American and it is illegal to have that stock on unless you swap another imported part for American!
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

I understand the ATF has agents everywhere looking for more money and victims, could be rumor, but if you were at a range and an agent was there it wouldn't be too difficult to see that red grip on an SAR-1 and with the homeland security they would identify you as a potential terrorist as you obviously mean that as a personal attack on those elite folks.
If you want,in the future I will keep my opinion to myself in your case.
Signed,Unwanted Advice
P.S. I noticed the pistol grip on my SAR-1 has a small 6/2 on it.

hey Joe i forgot to tell you about this little trick next time you go to the range with you'er ak put a few drops of 3in1 oil on the barrel under the handgrips and wipe down the barrel with some oil too .then rapid fire a 30 or 40 round clip .man people will think you'er gun is on fire the smoke will be just pouring out but it won't catch fire. infact i like to put alittle more oil on my barrel before i let people shoot it because of the heat. i find when i shoot it too dry it tends to stay grey too long after shhoting but when you lube it up good it sweats out oil. so i recomend heavy oil on the barrel.it might smoke but it will cut down on heat.
(and it looks cool) i can take my gun out and unload two 30 round clips back to back and have it smokin and come home put the gun in the closet and the barrel will accually ooze oil.
just some ak advice
