Well, it looks like a handguard with a picatinny rail underneath, and an AR-15 foregrip. That picture is of a rifle made by Hesse, which are usually trash. However, I see no reason to think their accessories are all necessarily bad. Not sure where you'd find one though. At ak-47.net, chances are a few people have them and can point you to them.

I made a foregrip for my G3 in a similar fashion, dremel-milling out an aluminum frame for a G3 p-grip.

I have ordered and will be offering a pre-made AK lower forend(bk polymer) with a rail mounted, a forward grip with a rail that can be mounted to any flat surface, larger pistol grips, adaptors to mount an AR stock to an AK and a few other interesting items.

SWEEEEET! Any timeframe on the stock adaptors? Cause I have an A2 buttstock just sitting around and I need to replace the sucky MSG stock on my AK.

I thought I'd be the one to offer such a thing, but I'm glad there'll be one out there half a decade and a reality check sooner!
