:full: :full: :full: :full: :full: So i installed the compensator...but it looks goofy...It sits at an angle (pointed upwards) compared to the barell...i dont know if its safe to shoot, i think i might go test it though...I guess ill find out in one shot hugh??? Im also wondering about the sights...the one in front, when looking at it straight on, is off to one side a little, not centered i noticed...now are these two things normal??? Can someone point me in the direction of a good compensator, since mine might get blown off, for a MAK 90??? Im not too keen on the no threads on the barell thing but it was a !!!! good deal!!! Oh ya and what is a good cheap scope (?are red dots any good?) that i can get for this thing...iv got a see through scope mount for it...and yes it has the screws in back to keep it at zero...so any help here would be great!!! THANKS GUYS :full: :full: :full: :full: :full:

maybe stay away from the compensator. if it isnt safe to shoot, its not worth ruining the gun!

My suggestion is if you don't live in a state with a ban on such things, the safest and best way to have a muzzle attachment for any AK is to thread the muzzle and install a threaded brake or flash hider.

There is an adjustment tool for the front sight, but it doesn't really work. I took a rubber mallet and a soft punch over my bench and beat it into the center position. It needs to be centered for accurate shots. If you get the tool you'll have to drill out the hole to enlargen it for it to work correctly. THe other wuestion you had I am not sure of. I think you are talking about the slant muzzle break, but I'd need to see a pic to tell you for sure. |
