Not to stray to far from the thread, I would vote for both ( more is better ). Since I just bought a PLR-16 (and it is a real hoot to shoot) my vote would be prejudiced anyway. I have intentions of complimenting it with a AR15 to have interchangeability with the mags. Have never shot a AK, so how do they compare with A AR15 in regards to accuracy and reliability.

The AR will typically be more accurate and potentially less reliable. It is all relative to gun, conditions and shooter. I have both rifles and enjoy both. I have never had any significant reliability issues with my ARs, but I am not cawling around in the mud or sand. It really comes down to to personal opinion - they are both fine rifles.

well i have a few ak's and i have a keltec and i will tel you that the keltec is a tac driver!! and as for reliability the keltec is pretty good it never jammed until i put a 30plus 3 cllip in it and worked out the kinks in it but as for the gun it fires every round with a regular 10 or 17 round glock clip in it. i like the keltec because it can be folded and put under the seat of a car and hidden but the ak can't now the ak has more of a punch. but if you want a gun that you are gonna be going in the mud and stuff with i would say go with the ak but if you want a gun that you will be plinking and target shooting and some home defense then i would go with the keltec or both in other words both are the same until you drop them in the mudor need to punch through a wall then they start to seperate. but there is nuthing wronge with a keltec i would get another anyday.i wish they would come out with a folding ak47. you have to remember that with that short barrel on the keltec you are gonna loose alot of muzzle velosety and that will take alot away from the 223 round if you really want a keltec go with the rifle version it would be more acurate.
