I assume the gun is not an NFA legal rifle. I think nfa AKs are going for like $16,000. I know the guy in the video is a dummy but do you think he would do that with a $16,000 rifle?

No way was that a legal gun. Real bright guys!! Wasted ammo, screwed up a gun and video taped a felony!

SOT Licensed people can buy, build, and shoot full autos legally. Their license is intended to allow them to sell to government agencies, but they aren't prohibited from buying and shooting whatever variety of NFA weapons they can.

With an SOT, you can legally buy a parts kit and build a full auto AK like that and blow it to kingdom come. I believe an SOT costs thousands of dollars PER YEAR. The only way to afford that (never mind the ammo) is to actually be in the business.

But if the Russians can torture test their weapons, so can our SOTs.
