| Senior Member | Can't get PSO to fit on side rail I picked up a PSO scope from CTD and it is supposed to fit an AK siderail. I've tried it on my WASR-2 no go and on my SAIGA .223 and .308 it will not fit any of them. It seems like the stop pin is too large anyone have any ideas? |

| Senior Member | Can you post a pic of the scope mount, and the rail. I had to dremel my rail slightly to get my posp to fit on my wasr-2. Kalinkas optics has a link to manuals on their website that shows how to adjust the clamp on the mount. Hope this helps. |

| Do not Dremel your mounts. On the bottom of the locking latch, there is a nut. It's a pain, but you loosen or tighten the nut one-quarter turn at a time. You'll know which way you need to turn it. It may take a few minutes, but ALL of the side mounts are adjustable this way. Slide your mount onto the siderail and (try to) close the lever. If it will not close, the tension is obviously too tight. Loosen the nut a little at a time, and keep trying the mount. Once you have made the adjustment, make sure it only takes moderate pressure to unlatch the mount. If it's too tight, it can damage the locking mechanism and make it hard as Hades to remove. If your mount is made by Kalinka, then this should help.......Adjusting the Clamp of POSP/PSO Scopes

| spiritual counselor ![]() ![]() | if it makes you feel any better i cursed my PSOP as a POS until i figured out what needed to be done.mine was a very snug fit but i was able to eventually get it on without filing anything . P.S. once i got it on there ive never removed it because it is such a bombproof noslip attachment. i tapped it on with a wooden dowel and a small mallet Last edited by billy; 03-09-2007 at 05:10 PM.
