Question Hungarian AK value?

I've decided I'm going to sell my Hungarian AK folder. It is new with sling, bayonet and 1 mag.
I've had this for 15 years or so and it's almost never been out of the safe so there is no reason to keep it, now I need to know what it is worth.

Below are some completed auctions of Hungarian AK's. These are some examples of what people are willing to pay, which is the true definition of value; if your gun is valued in a book at $1000 but the highest bidder will only pay $500, then maybe that's the actual "value" to anyone interested.

GunBroker.com Item 66705727 [Ends Feb-27-07 0719 PM] Hungarian AK-47 Feg 7.62x39 Real Military Quality
GunBroker.com Item 66778009 [Ends Mar-03-07 08:44:40 PM] FEG Hungarian AK with ACOG Reflex scope
GunBroker.com Item 69077126 [Ends Apr-01-07 0214 PM] AK-47 AK-47 USA/Hungarian AMD-63 Assault Rifle

I'd suggest searching around there for more completed auctions (you have to have an account to do that search).

Not sure exactly how much it would be worth without more info. Somewhere in the $750 range (+- $250) is my best guess. The one thing I know for sure is that it will be worth a lot more by 2009 the way things are going.

Hi,

I've the same FEG SA-85 AK (semi auto version).
When the last round has been fired, the bolt carrier don't stay reward (chamber open).
Is that normal on this model? A particularity of AK rifle?
Thanks

There is no bolt hold open device on the AK-47's...wasn't in the design!

Arrow

Well none of those 3 are any help! They are all post ban thumb hole stocks and at leas 1 is for the single stack mags.
Since the 2nd one has a $775 bid on it it tells me my pre ban folder is worth a lot more!

Have any pics? That might tell us things that would be helpful in determining its value.
