Check your ammo. Sounds like it's not chambering all the way. Also, give the chamber a good scrubbing.

Tear it down, take the upper handguard off and clean the gas port hole out. That should cure it. It it's Chinese, it should not have any cosmolene left in it but it could be carboned up (rare, but can happen). Could have a weak or broken recoil spring, too, maybe bent extractor keeping bolt from going all the way forward. Bent piston from bad tear down.

It will strip another round from the Magazine, Chamber it and Not Fire ?? Is that what you are saying Here ??? Sounds like you need to check the fire Control Trigger Group /Hammer /Sear...I had one do that and what was happening was the trigger was not releasing after being pulled the first time, and it was being held by the sear, so had to push the trigger FORWARD to release the sear and engage the Hammer, then it would fire again. My retainer spring was Out of the Pin groove and Binding the trigger, had to reset the spring and it functioned just fine After That... Rich

| Txyoungguns vbmenu_register("postmenu_314735", true); The disconnector isn't grabbing the hammer and the hammer simply follows the bolt carrier. Trigger tune-up time. |

The disconnector isn't grabbing the hammer and the hammer simply follows the bolt carrier. Trigger tune-up time.does the gun recock? Could also be a partial obstruction of the gas hole. Does the thing just light strike the next bullet or is the trigger not resetting? I guess we are assuming its not recocking? If its not cycling all the way it could still extract and load fine but not cock the hammer. Which, as mentioned, could be the gas tube is blocked or partially blocked. And also as mentioned, the disconnector is not catching the hammer. For several possible reasons. However, if it cycles by hand and sets the disconnect I am inclined to believe its short stroking. For some reason like gas or something making it not go all the way back so that the hammer can get caught by the disconnector. Also check to see if the dis-connector spring is in,or not broken.
