Good job taking a deep breath and gittin r done, billy.

Reminds me of the first time I built a new computer at home out of old and new parts, with no formal training, instructions or experience. The guy at the computer store told me in a condescending tone as he bagged the new parts: "when you give up call me, and I'll give you a reasonable price for finishing it--if you haven't screwed things up too bad."

It took me three days, but I wouldn't have called him if it had taken me three months. Amazing what a little persistence will do.

But dang it, now I want a Saiga like yours. And my safe's full and it wouldn't be happy with all my old stuff staring at it for being a black gun anyway, so I'd have to get a new safe and then some more newer guns to keep it company, and...

i do keep my milsurps with my spooky black rifles.
they just have to get along. kinda like the dog and the cat sharing a house.

Great job, Billy!

Glad to hear it worked out. I've also found with just about any project that stepping away for a breath of fresh air or even sleeping on it can usually bring resolution through clearer thinking or even thinking differently.

That's a gorgeous EBR you've created there. It makes me squirm thinking about buying an AES-10 to turn it into a Tabuk sniper look-alike.

You ` can` own these things, its just really really difficult. But, it can be done.

Oh really!!?
It is my understanding that to own a gun of this kind you would have to fall into a extremely narrow category of persons eligible to do so.
Professional pest destroyer, primary producer with exceptional circumstances, extremely dangerous occupations to name a few,a very small number of people indeed,my lament was that these types of weapons are not available to the common man, the gun enthusiast and decent law abiding citizen.Regards.
