| Saiga .223 From Russia w/ Love !!
I got my Saiga .223 Today. I am also got 2 extra magazines with it. I was wondering has anyone tried the SureFire Saiga Magazines? I hope they work out well cause they sure weren't cheap. Also where is a good place for parts like Trigger Stuff and Stocks? I would like to not have to go thru the whole conversion process if possible. I am going to the range tomorrow hopefully it will work as well as it did in their (Izmash) test firing. They claim 117mm Group at 100 meters.

The conversion process is a lot more fun than it looks, and the results are usually much better than expected. If you MUST have a US compliance trigger group for an unconverted Saiga, talk to me at New Years.

Will do that BRG. I am really wanting to get this thing going and see if I can do better than the testers result.

Saiga is a AK from the Izhmash Arsenal in Russia. It's brand new in the box and comes in many calibers. 7.62x39, .223, .308, and shotguns .410, 20 gauge and 12 gauge. They are built without pistol grips and have to be converted to accept them as well as regular AK magazines. They were made after the assault weapons ban. So they don't come with hi cap mags but they can be bought for them but the price is high. I paid 49.95 for my 30 round magazines. I have not fired mine yet but I will be taking it out tomorrow. I will let you know how it goes. Oh the rifle is much cheaper than the Romainian AK's at only 250 for the .223 cal. . I think it is worth the money by far. For one you are getting a rifle that has never been used (except for test firing of course). It has all the build of a AK. Action is the same. Well I took it out to the range today. It work nicely with only one problem. The first time I pulled the trigger it went off twice. After that it work out just fine. Hoping to get a scope on it soon and see what kinda damage I can do at 100 yards or more. Today I did 50 and 75 without problems. I would have to guess since I didn't measure that my groups were about half a inch at 50 yards.
