Question Bayonnet Lug for an AK

Does anyone know of a company out there theat sells an after-market bayonnet lug for an AK. I have an older WSAR 10. I know you either think it's a great gun for the price or not worth your time. However I want to give mine a make-over. I want to replace the wood furniture with some all black ones, and either a M-4 colapsable stock or some sort of folding stock. There are many to choose from. But I cannot seam to find any bolt on bayonnet lug attachments. Should I go with some sort of tactical front rail, and go with some sort of M1, or AR, tactical mount for a bayonnet or what? Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

K-Var has them, and probably has a good selection of the other accessories you want. Here's the link.

K-VAR Corporation :: Spare Parts & Accessories :: Gas Chambers :: AK-022

Be advised that adding a Bayonet Lug may violate section 922 of Federal Law .

I thought that all went away when the gun ban ended? Is it possible to buy a new AK with all of the previously banned items, bayonnet lug, and not be in violation of law, but to modify an older gun, is yet illegal? Just my luck, I'll be the one guy who gets charged, as a test case.

Thanks for the K-Var website.

Section 922 needs to get flushed.

Certain Parts of the Federal law are still in effect and you can research it on the internet. 922 is a very restrictive law that is still in effect, relating to pistol grips, bayonet lugs,flashhiders, and compliance parts.

Go to TAPCO and read the page on 922r compliance. While there look at the AK47 furniture!
