Question EAST GERMAN AK47 BAYONET on ebay?

I was searching ebay and found this
EAST GERMAN AK47 BAYONET WITH MATCHING NUMBERS 1946/2 - (eBay item 130168291968 end time Nov-02-07 19:21:10 PDT)

How much is this worth? Are they rare? I am thinking about bidding on it but im not sure. Is it a good deal?

Smokey Mountain Knife Works has Ak-47 bayonets from $7.99 to $14.99 depending on type. Try their website:

Smoky Mountain Knife Works - home of the World's largest knife showplace

Go to the knife page and type military into the search engine. Set the page up for 50 items at a time and teh Bulgarian model will be on the first page you will have to search for the other two.

Looks to be in good shape. I would bid up to $25 on it. If you really want it.

How do you know what you're getting on EBay??? At least with a reputible company you have the odds on your side. But if you feel better by taking your chances on EBay with an unknown seller and little recourse if you get screwed then by all means avail yourself of them.

Dallas, Your point is well taken. But I've been ripped off by the reputable company's as well. With Ebay, it's 50/50 too. But I get to see the item and ask questions. I guess it all depends on the item, and how badly I need/want it. Nice knife site, thanks!
