Question Need Help Identifying AKMS 7.62

On my last tour to the middle east, I encountered an AKMS 7.62 with milled receiver. The owner claims it is a pure russian firearm, it contains a marking of a triangle w. an arrow inside pointed upwards; besides that there is no other evidence to prove its a russian made gun. Anyone with any idea how to identify/clarify if this weapon is actually a russian AKMS. Sorry but no pictures.

Yes, certainly like that but a folding stock, the selector switch markings are the same and the factory stamp matches w/ the link you sent. Could it be that the local gunmakers stamp those markings on these guns and claim they're Russian and sell them for a higher price? Any suggestions?
