Is 5.45X39 still being made?

I am just wondering. I imagine if it's not there must be millions of surplus rounds out there, since the price is still pretty low. But I wonder how long it will last. I have an ak74 variant of that caliber. Great shooter, but it would be a bummer if in a few years I would not be able to fire it anymore...any thoughts?

Its still coming in, Russian and Bulgarian. I don't think anyone over here makes it though. I wouldn't worry, looks like it will be around for a long time.

Well that's good. It's a nice round to fire, seems to be pretty accurate, packs a punch but not much recoil. I'm kickin around the idea of getting another AK, but it 7.62 this time.

I belive that the 7.62 is better for short range, ploughing through the bushes and walls,(light cover in general),but they are both good.
