The funny part is, that specific law doesn't have any exceptions for LEO's or Military like most State gun laws do in WA. So, the argument has been made that since it would make it illegal for SWAT and whatnot to use suppressors that the wording where it mentions "Uses any contrivance or device for suppressing the noise of any firearm," -(RCW 9.41.250 (1)(c)) that it is talking about things other than firearm suppressors being used to suppress firearms, such as pop bottles, potatoes, etc. Unfortunately, there's no case law, nor any legal standing as of this writing to say either way.
