| new wasr 10
so i just bought a wasr 10 and i know how to strip it but i am a big gun noob, what should i do to get the grease off and what needs to be lubed and with what lubricant, wd40? mineral spirits, Kwik-Flush or gun scrubber solvent/degreaser. Then lube the proper areas. If you use anything and get it on the furniture (the stock set) make sure when it drys to take something like #0000 steel wool and rub boiled linseed oil into it. If you leave anything on the furniture, it may dry the wood out and over time cause it to crack. Here is a really great Wasr10 link Romanian Kalashnikov Rifles Here is another good link.
