Just make sure you're adding US-made parts and you'll be okay, on a legality standpoint.

What Just a Car said. You'll have to stay 922r compliant but that's easy to do.

I'd go to the K-Var website and look at what they've got for milled receivers. Just to give you an idea, when I converted my stamped Mak-90 from the thumb hole stock to a Romanian side folder, I used a Tapco G2 FCG, US made pistol grip, and installed US made followers in all my mags.

What Pred said! Also try: AK-47 Accessories, AK-47 Mini-14, Mini-30, M1 .30 Carbine Scout Scope Mount from UltiMAK

I would keep the front handguards original and buy a wood butt stock from Ironwood Designs. Get a plastic pistol grip from Tapco and re-finish the new butt stock and old hand guards with the same stain and varnish. Ironwood is the ONLY company with a butt stock to fit the slant cut milled Chinese AK, (that looks like an original AK). I've called em all. If you have a stamped receiver, you have many more choices. |
