worth of a Maadi Rpm

A friend is selling his LIGHTLY used Maadi RPM, not a RPL. Its the one with a 20" barrel and original bi pod and cleaning rod and kit. Has a butthole stock and a factory threaded muzzle with tacked thread cover. "I" could buy it for $350 but I have seen them for $500 and up at shows. I dont want to rip him off, what do you guys think he should ask in reality?

Then buy it for $350. To me, it's worth a little less then a Norinco. The longer barrel Norincos seem to be going for between $475-$550. However I wouldn't pay more for one simply because at that price your getting up into the used Arsenal range. If he wants $350 for it, give him $350. If you feel that guilty about it, tell him if he took it to a show or put it on the net he could probably get another $150 for it. Go from there...

His gun and he can sell it for what he wants. If you don't buy it someone else may.

I got it this morning for $350 and picked up breakfast. He did not feel like shipping on line and rather give me a deal. Just what I needed, another AK to keep the others company. Anyone got a clubfoot stock around? The butthole has got to go.
