AK stuff at gunshows?

Do gunshows generally carry much in the way of AK parts. Particularly stock sets. There will be a gunshow here in Redmond Or this weekend and I have a wallet waiting to be emptied and a saiga waiting to be re dressed. Also any news on ammo pricing at recent shows would be handy especially for 7.62x39 and 308 winchester. This way I know how much to take with me so I don't go overboard and end up divorced.

Totally agree. Went to a big show here this past weekend looking for AK stuff in particular. Tons of AR stuff, hardly any AK. There were a lot of complete rifles for sale and a couple picatinny rails but as far as furniture, hardware for the AK...none to speak of.

Am hoping to find what I'm looking for at the Tulsa Show in April. Have never been to this show but my buddies are telling me to start walking 10 miles a day to get into shape. Must be big!!!

Wannamaker, totally awesome! I forgot all the specs, but as I remember there are six acres in one room, all a/c and 6,000 tables.
Been there a few times, mostly the usual stuff, not a lot of AK goodies, but with that many choices ya' gotta find something!

Been to the Tulsa show several times. It is big. All indoors but lots of walking. You can spend all day and may not see it all.

Guess im lucky here in CO lots of AK stuff and Ar stuff. But since you are in oregon I would probably guess know. I use to live in eugeen (my mom still does) and the gun shows I remember were more hunting orientated with very few AK or AR's. If you dont want to go to a gun show just to have a good time I would say look into ordering parts online.

No AK stuff but some killer deals!!

Well there was no AK stuff to be had at the Oregon trail gunshow. Now I have to figure out what I am going to do and what type of stocks I am going to buy. I am going to get a composite and a wood one from Ironwood.com. Sure would have been nice to see something today. But today wasn't a total loss I did happen to score 200 rounds of 308 ammo for 45.97. I also picked up the Comanche III 357 revolver. Before you say anything about the Comanche please see my review in the handgun forum. Anyway if any of you know the best site for a composite stock for a guy with long arms I would appreciate it. I am thinking of either the ATI folding/collapsable stock or the Tapco T6 stock. I don't want to fork out a lot of dough but I don't want a piece of crap stock either. Hope everybody here is well and have a great day.
