adjusting sights on saiga

Today i finally got some time to myself, by myself to spend on my property without the fiancee whining and nagging that she's hungary, or thirsty, or sleepy, gotta pee, etc, etc. I love my girl but she's good for about 45minutes to an hour, after that she looses interest in shooting, which is understandable. I can't think of anyone i know other than myself who likes to shoot for hours on end.

Anyway today i got to play for a long time by myself. I got to shoot my dan wesson and S&W 357's and my 1911. After that i decided to shoot my saiga @ 100 yards and see how it was grouping. I was using 50yard small bore rifle targets which are about 7" wide and 10" tall. I had the target tacked to a vacum cleaner box that i use all the time.
I shot the first 10 rounds and went to check the target and not one hole was on the paper. I thought i was shooting high so i adjusted my sight picture and fired another 10rds. I went to check it again and nothing.

The cardboard box that i staple my target to is about twice as wide as the target. It's riddled with holes but after unloading my second clip i noticed that there was a spot about 6" to the left right off the paper that was tore up bad with holes. So i decided to turn the box upside down because the top of the box didn't have any holes in it.

I set my target on the clean side of the box and loaded the magazine again. This time i was able to identify all my shots. They were grouped very descent for a 10shot group. I then backed up and shot another 10 shots and they were all in the same exact place. Windage is off about 6" to the left but elevation is dead on.

Question, is it possible to adjust the windage on the saiga or any other ak for that matter. Other than the windage being a tad off, i am extremely surprised by the accuracy. all 20 of my shot were in a circle about 7"round, and i was shooting the shots back to back with no cool down in between shots.

I was using Wolf soft point from cabelas. It functioned flawlessly and has fantastic expansion. Behind my target there was a small mound of dirt and i was able to dig out several bullets and the expansion was immense. Not to mention they were pretty reasonable priced.

If i can't adjust the sights i will just put a scope on it i guess. I love my saiga and it has became my official truck gun due to the short length, light weight, and not to mention it has functioned flawlessly through about 300rds of wolf without a cleaning yet.

I got the tool in from tapco, and it works flawlessly. Big thumbs up to Tapco, the shipping was insanely fast, and product is flawless. Only took a second to adjust the windage. Now i got to take it out and punch some paper to see the results. Thanks again guys.
