What's your opinion

I just put my saiga 308 back together after installing the new FCG for my upcoming PG install. In the process I notched my safety lever for a BHO. I decided not to replace the factory BHO lever figuring "why would I need two?" In all honesty I like the way the notched safety lever works better as a BHO anyway and attempting to reinstall the factory lever just caused me some serious anguish and a whole lot of cursing. Brian aka Dinzag said not to give up on the lever as it is unique and only found on Saigas. I myself not having the greatest amount of patience am in a quandery and cannot decide. So I ask "what would you do?"
