WASR Question

I was looking at getting some sort of AK variant. While I was at dunhams today, they had wasr10 single stack for 250, and wasr10 double stack with side folding stock for 500. Those prices dont seem right to me. what do you guys think. These are sales that go through monday.

well most wasr10 i see range from 360-420. but thats with no folding stock so for the folding stock and "labor" to put it on MAYBE within reason but for that you could get a yugo m70 with underfolding stock which i think is a way better ak.

$500 is mucho too much. You can buy a AK-47 with a wooden stock, buy the synthetic folding stock, pistol grip, and foregrip for less than that and put it together yourself. Most places charge $20-30 to transfer long guns around here, so you should probably just find a good deal online and have an FFL order it for you.

just buy the single stack and open the mag well up,not hard to do at all.if ya have a dremel and about 30-60 minutes, then ya can do it,or a mill and save a few hundred.as for the folder stock, goes on with two screws(not the wood screws) just like the wood stock.it slides right into where the wood stock was and apply the two screws that come with the folder.the folder runs about 50 bucks.
