| Crappy Scope Mount I recently bought a quick detach scope mount for my saiga. It is one of the original Izmash russian built ones, but after a few shots it has some very noticable wobble to the mount. I didn't even get to sight it in before I noticed how bad the wobble was. I'm pretty bummed. I think I'm in the market for one of the fixed position mounts. Anybody got any opinions on a scope mount. The Rings also don't close up completely on the scope. So there are gaps on each side. ![]() |

| did you try to adjust the tension on the release lever on that mount? gaps on the rings are normal.

| Same on my AK, Go to Kalinka Optics and click on the manuals link. There is a manual on the mount there.

| Thanks Guys. I should have titled the post "I'm stupid Help me fix this nice Scope Mount" I went to the Kalinka optics website and read the manual and had it fixed in about 2 minutes. The manual that came with mine was horrible. She's as snug as a bug in a rug now. |

| Well, I am buying a mount for my AK soon. You may have saved me from making the same mistake, so all is not lost. Sometimes we can learn from others, so all our bad experiences are not totally wasted. |

| I've got a quick-disconnect rail-mount on the way also for my AES-10. I'll make sure to check out that manual prior to mounting. Your mistake may have helped quite a few other folks; good on ya!
