Golden Tiger vs Wolf

I was sighting in my WASR at 100 yrds yesterday. Not bad groups w/Golden Tiger and some German copper cased stuff and Wolf black box ammo. The Golden Tiger and German was very consistant w/ 6-7" groups (no scope). The Wolf ammo went to hell. many rounds missed the paper all together. Is that common w/Wolf black box or did I get a bad batch? Can't get the German stuff anymore. Wolf is available all over the place. Golden Tiger not as available (where I live anyway) as Wolf but still the same price. Should I give Wolf another chance or stick w/Golden Tiger?
What have been your experiences?

Was the Wolf FMJ??

Wolf FMJ is notoriously the most inaccurate stuff you can get in 7.62x39.

I've had pretty decent results with wolf ply coated SP, but that is the only wolf i've tested.

Silver bear seems to be a good bit more accurate.

you sure its not just shooting the wolf black box out of the ak that is the problem? ive shot wolf black box out of my SKS at a 81/2" by 11" piece of paper at 100 yards and as far as i could tell all of them hit it. i didnt measure the group but at least they hit. it was the first time shooting it so i hadnt really gotten used to the sights yet and i havent shot anything but coffee cans or logs since then

I have never had any problems with Wolf FMJ. At 40 yards Id get 30 shots all within a 10" target and atleast 1 bullseye per clip. Only problems Ive had are with Wolf HP feeding. Maybe it was the clip but it seems some of the rounds got hung up on the RSB just below the barrel causing misfeed. Had to manually open receiver and clip to remove round. Shot 400 rounds of Wolf FMJ in one session with NHM-91 without any problems though. They definately seemed alot more accurate and cleaner than the imported military surplus ammo Ive shot.

I'm hoping to do a bit of shooting this Sunday. I will be comparing Golden Tiger FMJ, Wolf FMJ black box, Sapsan HP, and Golden Bear FMJ. I'll let you know how it comes out!
