| AK replacement parts? Hello, I just purchased my first AK, and I was wondering whats parts usually wear out the quickest? And how many rounds can I expect to get out of my barrel and gun before I'll need to start replacing spring/pins etc? Thanks. |

| Umm....I really can't think of anything that might wear out....lol Buy several mags though! And lots of AMMUNITION! Prices will only go up, so buy as much as you can as soon as you can!

| How timely this is, I cleaned my Arsenal Sa93(a rare event) and the op rod had a little bit of play in it where the two pieces meet, is this normal or a sign of wear? I never noticed this before. I tried to see in from the charging handle end to see how the two pieces are put together thinking I could tighten it if it is a screw but it looks more like a rivet or something in there, how important is it that this piece have no slop in it and be absolutely stiff or is some little slop where the two pieces meet normal? |

| A little wobble is ok, but normally you want it tight. You cold try replacing the pin.

| All I can think of is a spare firing pin. Maybe a hammer spring and sear spring. I don't really think those are necessary, but nice to have, just in case.
