Mine needs at least 30 or 40 rounds to warm up, the berrel gets really hot real quick. The trigger pull and action all smooth out after some warm up time.

Pissing down the barrel is also good for clearing fouled up black powder pieces and also for de-icing iced up carburettors on old motorcycles!!
