Mine Was A Diamond In The Ruff But Im Going To Do It Russian Red With A Polished Steel Bolt Carrier Heat Treated Purple Bolt And Heat Treated Purple Hammer With A 8x42 POSP Scope..Does This Sound Cool Or Is It Just Plain Stupid?

I don't think it sounds stupid, the whole project sounds cool to me. I hope you post pics when it's finished. My PSL is a TGI that is stamped FPK Dragunov as well.

Hmm, I like that idea. Since my furniture is already done, polishing the bolt group would look really good. I may do that as well, but post pics if you get it done first. Sorry, to partially hijack the idea, but I've done that to a few of my bolt action rifles and they look great. Just be aware that unless you live in the desert like me, you'll need to keep a light coat of oil to protect it from humidity and rust. Being that the humidity here rarely get's over %30, it's a none issue for me.
