| pin out but more problems
ok, so i finally got that pin out this morning! yay only took 3 day! lol so assembled the thing easy enough. racked it about 5 times, seemed good! great. i litteraly did a victoy dance!  but then i racked it a few more times and the problems started.......  now instead of getting stuck on the dang hammer it is rideing right over it!! it is not pushing it down far enough to have the hammer go under the catch and cock!!! this this has coused me more frustration in 3 days than anything i can think of!  help?!??!?

Diatribes is probably right, check to make sure the hammer isn't in backwards.

ok................ now im incredably confused...................... i just put the original every thing back in and it still did the not cocking thing......... only thing i can think of is a missing part or somting..........  here is my only idea left......... is there sposed to me a sleeve in between the hammer pin and the hammer? one like the sleeve on the trigger pin? please please help me! ok does not look like there would have been room for a sleeve...... what could be bent that could couse this problem? please please help!!!!!!

I doubt you could have bent any of the FCG. Possible I suppose but Id think youd have to use tremendous force to do so. Im still thinking you have the hammer in backwards. That would cause your trigger to fail lock-up. The flat part where your hammer hooks onto your trigger faces to the rear of your rifle. You should be able to see where the face of your hammer strikes the bolt/firing pin. It would be worn slightly at the impact area. Try putting it in reverse of what you have it at now?

I understand it is frustrating if it is the first time, but take a deep breath and try it agian. Here is a picture of a FCG cocked, check your to see if your lines up the same way.  < front of gun |

i can not thank you guys enough!!! i works!!! not only that but it smooth a butter!.... the diagrams helped and you guys DID call it like 5 posts up...... the hammer was backwards..... and im embarassed to say that i was to mentaly spent to get that.......... had to take a brake for a while.......... took a 2 hour nap then went skeet shooting.... came back looked at the diagrams you guys put up and bam! thanks thanks thanks honestly though thank you guys for sticking this one up with me!
