Dave Here, Swedesteve’s brother. I wanted to take a minute and share a few items concerning Steve. Steve’s birthday came and went on Aug. 1 and was difficult for the family. His loss is heavily felt, but his name and memory have born good things. Our mothers church was about to shut it’s doors for financial reasons when a donor stepped forward and made a very large contribution to the church in Steve’s name. The church doors remain open today. A large donation was made in Steve’s name to a Veterans organization. Many stories have come to the family concerning Steve’s kind heart and good doings. You were Steve’s good friends too and I want to share the following with you all. In August a large family reunion was held and a tribute to Steve was given by a cousin of our mother. It will have special meaning for you all.
