| Good responce from Federal Ammo
Was target shooting with my 6 year-old over the weekend and opened a 550 round box of Federal 22LRs. Using my 10-22 we had at least 20 that refused to go off out of about 100 fired from that box (very distracting when teaching safety to a child). I even tried sending a few of the duds through his Stevens Favorite - and still no luck. Called Federal and explained the issue to them, they are mailing me a new box of ammo - no forms, no return of unfired rounds no hassel at all. Their only requirement was that I read them the lot number off the side of the box. It's bad that they had so many failures in one box but at least they made good on it. :right:

I am glad to see that Federal understands that keeping a customer happy is worth more to them then a brick of .22LR. They have already reaped dividends with your post here at G&G. Too often people simply complain, but fail to share good experiences like this one.

:ballons: I sometimes get duds but I just throw them away (sort of) and attribute it to the law of averages. I always take more than one box and they are all different brands because some seem to work better on certain days. I dunno maybe its just me.
