Does anyone know where to get 38 smith & wesson ammunition.

.38 S&W factory ammo is much overpriced. Your best bet is to reload. It's an easy caliber.

get used to the price unless you get real lucky and get a bunch from an estate sale or something along those lines. reloading is the only real economical option, that is what i did when i still had my model 10 S&W.
