WARNING! FN .45ACP Ammo

A while back i picked up some FN 50s manufature .45 ACP ammo at a gunshow. It came in 20 round cardboard boxes with "oxyless" and " FN .45" on them. I had them a few months before i got to shooting them and i had about 50% misfires, 40% hangfires and 10% normal rounds. After two boxes i quit and pulled down about a dozen. the powder didnt burn right when i put a match to it it just kind of spluttered. The primer flash holes in the cases werent uniform and one round had no hole at all! The primers were sealed with green sealer and had three stake marks ont he outside. STAY AWAY FROM THIS AMMO! Just thought id warn ya'll.

thanks for the warning. i dont recall ever seeing any FN 50's, but ill keep a sharp eye for it :right:

The boxes are tan cardboard with "oxyless" ina circle on the side and "FN .45 20 rounds" ont he top.
