I went out shooting for the first time this week and unloaded about 35 rounds in about a half hour breakin clays all over the place. Good old fashion fun, only problem is I have a 16 GA 2 3/4 and live in the boondocks so I can't find any cheap shooting trap shells in my area. Anyone know where to find them online i've tried but couldn't find any, thanks. Ellsworth ![]() |

Finding inexpensive 16 gauge shells might not happen. You may be able to find some cheaper than others, but I am unsure if you will be able to buy any for under 8 dollars a box. The same can be said for .410 shells.

I guess I'd go through them pretty fast trap-shooting. But I have a Stevens bolt-action 16g I only use on rabbits, so they're lasting pretty well. They're a mix of different loads, but the bunnies don't seem to be choosy about which one they're killed with...

Inexpensive shotgun ammo is mostly to be found on clearance sales, or by better shoppers then me. If you are thinking about shooting that thing enough to make it worthwhile, Loading for it might be an interesting additional "hobby". I have been thinking about getting started on loading for 12g myself recently.
