| buy 9mm ammunition I just turned 18 not to along and was thinking about buying a 9mm Beretta CX4. The only problem is I don't know if I will be able to buy the ammunition for it since I am only 18, even if I do tell them it is for a rifle. I live in NC. I have tried asking a few places close by, but they told me they where not quite sure. Just wondering if anybody could clear this up for me. Thank you. |

| No matter what it is supposed to be for no one under 21 can buy pistol ammo. I agree. Unfair but true.

| Super Moderator ![]() | CPickard -- there is one way around this -- look into learning about reloading and making your own 9mm its legal for you to buy components and assemble them for your carbine

| The law in most states (if not all), is 21+ for pistol ammo. You could probably get away with it at wal-mart...I was asked if my 30-06 ammo was for a handgun. |
