XM193 vs XM193C

Anyone know what the difference is? between the Lake City Mil Spec 5.56/.223 ammo?

I know the 5.56 / 223 Federal Lake City XM193
55 GRAIN FMJ comes boxed in 30 round boxes in 10 round stipper clips and 900 rounds in a case. While the C is in 20 round boxes no stripper clips/ 500 rounds per case.

Someone on AR15.com forums said that the C ammo was a from a 20 million or so canceled govt contract. (Lake City makes all the US military ammo)

But it was still at mil-spec.

Can anyone clarify or confirm/deny the difference?
