hornady 22 wmr v-max

so hornady has out some new 30 grain ballistic tips with very similar ballistics to the 17 hmr (could be a big step for the 22 mag

) anyone have much experience with these? i have shot one box and the first time at the range was no good, shooting about 1 3/4" at 100 yds with 3 shot groups (compared to about 3/4 with the cci 40 gr. ammo). Today i shot up the second half of the box, but did it only at 50 yards and put 10/12 shots inside an inch, the total group plus the first 2 was about 1 3/4" The 2 flyers with a half inch high and my first two shots. Granted its only 50 yards, but its better! now i just need to figure my scope out, good groups but it wasn't adjusting right. Anyway, Anybody do any good with this round? also anyone shot anything besides paper with it? how does it perform if so.
