| Smith and Wesson used to make a revolver for this round. It was pretty much a flop.

| Senior Member | The S&W Model 53 revolver. Back in the mid-60's where I grew up the round was used in a number of rechambered single-shot .22LR bolt actions as the preferred deer poaching rifle as they were cheap and disposable.
