Shipping Ammo to CA

ok, heres a quick question. a lot of sites, (not all) have it written that they cant ship ammo to certain locations in california. Im located in pasadena, which falls under los angeles county. the wording for the shipping restrictions however says that they cant ship to the CITY of los angeles. since im in the city of pasadena, does that still equate to los angeles guide lines? ive looked and did multiple searches online for "california ammunition shipping laws" and keep coming up with just local gun laws and restrictions. can ANYONE please just help me find out what the restrictions are? THAN YOU!!!

Call city hall there should be someone there who knows the law. Notice I said "should".

I would call one of the larger on line dealers and ask them. Bass Pro, Cabellas, Cheaper Than Dirt for a few. They have a team of lawyers and will know all local laws.

Call the retailer not the city. A lot of retailers have CYA restrictions that are more strict than the actual law. I think Marin and Yolo counties can't be shipped to, but everywhere else it's individual cities that are restricted.
